About Me

Family and children came along which certainly concentrated the mind but ultimately I
began working for myself by setting up the company, JB Designs & Associates Ltd. That
became very successful, installing major displays around the UK, and undertaking design
work and promotions.

That was halted by a dramatic fire after thirteen years which was affected by insurance-
averaging and reduced life back down to basics and having to start over again.
Eventually, I moved to live in Spain and started writing. I found it, and still find it, a
wonderful creative journey. Always full of challenges in attempting to improve the craft.
Certainly, without Microsoft Word, it would have been an even greater endeavour but these
days, with the added assistants of Grammarly and AutoCrit to smooth out errors it has
become an easier task.

Being in charge of one & character & lives, their happiness, deaths, romances and disasters, is
all-encompassing, thrilling and challenging. Constantly having to ask oneself, what would I
do in these circumstances, how do I express this or that? I think I am improving with my
storytelling and I also hope, that if you join me on my adventures of fiction, you enjoy them.
